UK: HTA asks clarifications on Covid-related restrictions for garden centres


Garden centres in Britain have already complied to the new regulations and offer safe environments and processes both for the clientele and for their employees in all areas. They are ready to welcome customers again, both indoor and outdoor. However, new rules and restrictions may compromise the opening of garden centres. James Clark of HTA reportedly said: “Garden centres have risen to the challenge of providing safe environments and processes to protect their staff and customers. Just as many are fully reopening their hospitality offering these further restrictions – designed for those operating in the night-time economy – could present real difficulties for the industry.”
