LUCI OLTRE SAN SIRO / LIGHTS BEYOND SAN SIRO
Architect Monica Tessarolo of En Space network meets architect Emanuele Bortolotti, founding partner of AG&P Greenspace studio.
Previews on the proposal of landscape redevelopment of the area in which the new San Siro soccer stadium and the surrounding sports centre will coexist. This is a very significant project for the whole city of Milan, which envisions a deep transformation of a urban hole into a sports centre surrounded and covered by vegetation.
The project includes multi-sport fields, cycle paths and open-air-gyms on a surface of around 76,000 sqm, in which nature will be both the container and the protagonist. The historic stadium building will become a big green amphitheatre.
