Architect Stefano Boeri is following the Chinese declination of his Bosco Verticale in Milan. In fact, China is building hundreds of green towers that absorb pollution. Bosco Verticale is now a model for social architecture in the rest of Europe as well. In the Netherlands, for instance, Trudo Vertical Forest has been built in Eindhoven.
However, the only coherent anticipation of architecture, interior design and post-Covid lifestyle seems to be that of Vantone Group, in which Italian architect Anna Barbara, founder of SenseLab, has infused the principles of living a house following a sustainable ethic. Planter Box House in Malaysia has a huge green façade used as a filter and, thanks to 50 edible plants, it shows how a building can be self sufficient.
